My approach
My philosophy of care is meeting patients where they are in their stage of life to help them achieve the best quality of life possible through evidence-based medical approach using medications and psychotherapy and involve their families as well as significant others in their care while collaborating with their therapists and other doctors involved in their care.
I treat my patients using a biological, psychological and social approach to formulate an individualized treatment plan tailored towards each individual patient and provide comprehensive education to my patients about their illness, medications side effects and risk factors for decompensation to help them make the best decision about their care.
In addition, I implement exercise, nutrition, light therapy, mindfulness and sleep hygiene modalities to help patients improve their quality of life and reach their goals. I have vast experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders ranging from mild to severe, chronic conditions.

At Bassem Krayem, MD, PLLC, I am dedicated to providing the best care for my patients. My mission is to create a safe and comfortable environment where individuals can receive the support and treatment they need.
